Quality financial education for creating a real social-economic change
In Israel of 2017, most of the population owns a bank account. Most of the accounts are in overdraft. Most of the people hold a credit card and take mortgage loans to finance their house. Examination of the data in the Arab population shows a slightly different picture. 40% of the Arab population doesn't have a bank account at all. Most of those who do have one don't own a credit card, and only 7% will receive a mortgage loan. In the Arab population, more households use overdraft and for a longer time period. The chances that the bank clerk will make a call are higher, and so are the chances that the account will be blocked. Chances are that youth without appropriate financial education will join these known statistics.
